About This Calculator
This calculator finds the stock or index prices on your selected dates and calculates the returns for that period. It also computes the Nifty 50’s returns for the same duration, helping you compare whether the stock has outperformed or underperformed the broader market.
Along with Returns, We have also provided quick metrics like Monthly, Yearly returns as well as 3 year CAGR to show nearest stock performance & mid term performance.
How Gains/Loss Calculated?
After taking the inputs, the calculator subtracts the start price from the end price. The difference is then divided by the start price and multiplied by 100 to calculate the percentage return.
Note: the Formula is mentioned in the result box.
About Current Market Price (CMP)
If the selected date is today, the calculator uses the latest CMP. During market hours, CMP is refreshed every 15 minutes (15 mins delayed). After market close, the closing price is shown.
