Nifty 50 index ends 662.10 points below 2.68% from last week’s closing after opening gap down in the beginning hour then continuously selling makes the nifty 50 to go down by more than 3% in the morning session.

A bad day for the market today, only 5 out nifty 50 stocks were ended in green and 45 ended in red. after a gap down open nifty 50 made its day’s low in the morning session and remained sideways throughout the day after a small recovery from day’s low.

China’s SSE 180 index was down by 1.13% while Japan’s Nikkei had a biggest fall in a day since 1987. Plunges over 12% and 19% in last 3 trading sessions.

Private bank was down 2.27%, Consumer durable index plunges by 2.86%, the IT sector was down by 3.26%, Oil & Gas ended up by losing 3.71% today from previous session. Auto sector was down by 3.92%. PSU bank, Realty, Media all 3 sectors were down by more than 4% and in the end the Nifty Metal Index was the biggest loser in today’s session. it was almost down by 5%.

Next best was Tata Consumer, up by 0.70%. Nestle was up by 0.68% today. Britannia was up by 0.51% and the last stock that ended in green with least gain was the HDFC Life. it gained 0.21%.

ONGC was the next nifty 50 dragger today, it was down by 6.39%. Adani Port was down by 5.92%. Tata Steel dropped by 5.61% and hindalco dropped by 5.25%.
